“Chiropractic services are widely used and appreciated by growing a segment of Americans.”
Q: What can chiropractic do for me?
A: Turn your health around by relieving you of a serious form of spine and nerve damage. The effects can be immediate or they may take time.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is based on the principle that disease is caused by interference of proper nerve flow and utilizes manipulations of the body joints, in particular the spinal vertebrae, in restoring normal nerve function and better health.
Every body function is controlled by the nervous system. Nerve impulses travel back and forth from the brain, through the nervous system, to all parts of the body. When these nerve impulses flow freely to all parts, the body functions properly. If, however, the flow of nerve impulses become disrupted, the part of the body which is fed by those nerves can not function correctly.
One of the most common causes of interference of interference of the nervous system is a misalignment of the spine. Nerves pass through small openings in between the vertebrae. When the vertebrae are properly aligned, nerve impulses flow freely. Should a vertebrae become misaligned there can be pressure or irritation placed on the nerves surrounding the vertebrae. As a result, nerve impulses can not get enough information to function at their full potential. Disease or dysfunction often occurs.
Q: Why should I return if I’m feeling fine?
A: You get one adjustment and are feeling good. Why wait until your miserable again? Prevent the pain.
Q: What is DTS Treatment?
A: DTS is a non-surgical treatment to help in the management of serious low back/leg or neck/arm pain.
Q: Is it best to get surgery for Carpel Tunnel Syndrome?
A: Advanced cases of CTS may require surgical treatment. Unfortunately, surgery often produces symptomatic relief but in many cases does not allow the patient to regain full hand function.
Chiropractic Physicians Provide Cost Effective Primary Care Services
In the state of Ohio, Doctors of Chiropractic are “physicians” and “primary care providers” under section 4734.09 and 4734-1-06 (A) of the Ohio Revised Code, which enables them to consult, examine, diagnose, and refer patients. Chiropractic Physicians are well educated with six-to-eight years of professional resident study, covering such subjects as anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and spinal manipulation. The extensive education, which all chiropractic colleges provide, prepares Chiropractic Physicians to provide a scientifically-proven form of healthy and cost effective primary care.
